[To be fair, Alphinaud half-expects Urianger to tell him to dealeth with it or somesuch, so he's pleasantly surprised when that ends up... not being the case. Because it's true. At the end of the day, they just came in from a bad situation, and there's a native with fox ears who is stuck in this mess who Alphinaud wants to help, and one way or another Alphinaud is going to stubbornly stumble his way through this until he learns the proper amount of diplomatic grace (or wears some weights).]
