[He can't help feeling bad about her downcast face. Maybe it isn't his fault that he can't remember, but there's no guile in her sadness whatsoever. She was a friend, albeit a hoofed one, and Alphinaud doesn't like to leave people behind.

There's an undeniable eagerness in the way he brightens at the offer, though.]

I would be very much in your debt, Miss...? [A gentle prompting for her name.] I have not seen Alisaie in time enough that I fear she may fillet me if I delay a moment longer. I was deep in enemy territory when we lost communication, you see...

[Konoha wants to say that it's fine, but... She also doesn't want to lie. Instead, she decides to focus on what she can do- reunite a pair of twins!]

[Once they set off she clips her pace a bit to accommodate him, used to working with humans and making sure to not to outstrip them. Though she manages to focus a moment on the actual path, remembering where Alisaie's apartment was, she can't help but ask as they go,]

... I was. Truth be told, I am not entirely sure where I ended up. I was moving through enemy territory in the company of a man with great strength, and I trust that he would protect me as he has aided me previously. However, I know not if I am still in his company.

[That bears some explaining, so he tries again.]

I lost consciousness. A voice called to me and I felt distinctly that I was going elsewhere, and I remember naught else.
